HI,
I have raised a guyana from 6 weeks to almost 2 years, and they are almost related. a silly little line in the sand. Baby BCC"S are a little more temp sensative than BCI and mine wouldn't eat unless the temp's ambient were 82-84 and the humidty 60-70 %. my BCI could care but the little BCC's seem to need the humidty.
Give them quiet time before and after feeding, mine was gangly and thin the first year but grew like a weed the second. This seems to be normal
they are much stronger and bigger than the bci as adults, plan on a large cage. te perfect cage would be 8 long 2ft deepto 3 ft if your building it.
Invest in a large cage up front, or they will out grow it by two, he its your money, I used a forty critter for the first year and the 2/4melanie cage and finally 2/6 thsi will not proably be the last.. hehe

here's some baby pics.
