Sharon, big hugs to you and your son. That is very scary. My husband had undiagnosed appendicitis which luckely didn't burst but they didn't find it until he went in for exploratory colonoscopy and found cancerous polyps. It gives you very little faith in the medical community sometimes. Prayers for quick recovery for your son (and for you, I know how draining it can be).
