Ok, here's my question. I had recieved a Rescue RTB for an interested friend. But when I got him I couldn't help but notice that he was VERY over fed. He is otherwise healthy and was only fed F/T but the man who had him wanted to breed him quickly so he fed him 2-3 rats every 3-4 days!!! He's WAY too fat.
What's a good way to cut back on food without starving him to get him back on track and lose a few lb's? I don't want him to get mean out of hunger or stress him out but he's been on that diet for about a year now, and I think it has to be bad enough to be a health issue.
Let me know your thoughts,
I was thinking of taking him out often to get more exersize and feeding him 1 large rat a week, then cut down to every 10 days?
He's less than a year old, 5'1'' and very round.
Thanks.
