For the snakes that are in bedrooms, I close the door during the day. This keeps a lot of the generated heat in the room. At night I leave the door open and temps usually drop by 4 or 5 degrees, more now that it's winter. I have a few snakes in on open loft and I turn on a high ceiling fan at night. It's on low enough to not cause much draft, but it does cool things down. I think it's better to drop temps at night, though I know plenty of people who don't, and haven't had any problems.
