I would think that the room temperatures would drop at night time...lowering the tank temperatures automatically. Thats what happens with my setups.

To answer your question, I would try to give it a night drop, but I think that it most important to provide them with the proper temperature gradient (proper basking temps, proper ambient temps) They can thermoregulate by themselves.

I just cant understand why the daytime temps are the same as the nighttime temps...
