Bearded Dragons Difficult?

Are these guys difficult to take care of? Im looking to maybe get a pair for this new 180 Gal tank im picking up. Is their any reason why i shouldnt look into full grown adults? I know the care requirements for them i just wanted to know how much they poop, how messy, how much attention they need to stay calm? How many crickets a full grown adult eats?
