The male was ready to breed at 18 months and/or about 3-3 1/2 feet. Males breed young. A 7 foot female will breed with him now and then probably eventually crush his guts out if you keep them together. Perhaps a new game plan would be better. If you allow these snakes to breed in a coffee table where there is lots of people traffic, stress levels will become way more than you want to deal with. While the whole coffee table idea seems like a really cool idea...and pretty much every snake keeper has at least thought about doing it...it really isn't a good idea if the health and well being of your animals are something you care about...same can be said for housing them together.
