My Doberman,Abbee
I have mentioned her many times since I have been posting here and thought I would share some pics of her.I have had her 5-6 years.She came to me when I was working at the shelter.She was brought in with many cuts and sores on her body,she was scheduled to be euthanized the next day because of her breed,needless to say,I adopted her on the spot.She had been severly beaten by her previous owner,had boiling water poured on her,shot with pellet guns for not being a "good dog" as he called it and the horrible list goes on.
Her previous owner was charged with animal cruelty,the charges were later dropped.She still fears men and you can NOT wear a cap into my house!
Things are great now as she is a very happy girl and gets lots of love,treats,and more love!
Also,she really saved my life a few years ago!!I probably would have been killed instead of just beaten.The guy had me down and was kicking me and screaming and hitting me with something and she managed to get through the door and got him away from me long enough for me to dial 911...it was during a break-in that i happened to be home during.(the man was convicted BTW)
