Actually, he looks more central american than anything -- his tail is almost all black, only a little bit of deep red flecking showing through. He fathered a big litter of babies last year, and they all look somewhere between central american and normal colombian, too. There was ONE baby who actually does look bcc-ish -- wine red tail, widows peaks, very clean pattern -- but only that one, of 23. On the whole, all signs say typical bci. But he's growing like a weed...
