Hubby went to a job interview in Sycamore, IL (near DeKalb) yeasterday, and got a call today saying he got the job! Thankfully we will be closer to our home town, but the problem is he has to be there in a week! My parents are going to critter-sit for me, and the company may be moving our mobile home, so hopefully all we will have to do is find a nice park to move it into. I do have a question, though. My mom has an old house, that has at most 2 outlets per room. I'd like to avoid putting cages all over her house, I'm sure she'd rather have them all in one room. The problem is, I can't plug in heat sources for everybody in one room. What do you guys think of just using a space heater to keep one room at 85? They won't have a temp gradient, but hopefully it will just be for a week or two. The animals that will be in that room will be the BCI's, the argies, the ball pythons, the leopard geckos, and maybe the beardie, who will also have his UV heat bulb. The chameleon will probably be in the bathroom, and the leaftails and white lined gecko will probably be in a different room, since they don't need as much heat. Does this sound ok to you guys? Any other ideas? I think the most stressful part of this move is going to be worrying about getting these guys settled!
