Thanks Shad. We put your tax dollars to work over there. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] Our first weekend was spent lounging around the pool, sipping glasses of wine. To be fair though, that first week, my team busted our humps for 12 hours a day to keep the planes flying. We were able to keep the mission capable rate at an even 100% while we were there, which is no small feat considering our newest plane was built in 1957.
All in all, I have close to 600 pics, including some of wineries, ruins, the alps, and topless beaches [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]
The hangar that we were working out of is huge. To give some perspective, the flag and the vehicle to its left are at about the midpoint of the building. What you can't see, down at the other end, is a full-size basketball court. To the left, on the second floor, is a well-equipped gym with free weights, universal weights, and cardio equipment. Beyond that is a movie room. On the other side, we have a BX/PX, as well as a clinic and a laundry room. The hangar is roughly 1/4 mile from end to end, and can hold ten Boeing707 aircraft
