wait till he yawns.. lol JK Well when i took mine to the vet they had a tool

Its surgical steel and the shape of an old bottle opener, I have one but don't use it till my buddie( vet assistant) helps me out, till i feel comfortable with it. He holds his head and gently puts it in the side of his mouth and turns. The snake does-not try to close his mouth just tries to back away.
If anyone feels this is wrong let me know but from what he does seems to not really bother the snake that bad.
