Hi,
I only feed frozen, rodents this keeps that aggresion down cause they don't have to get all
ticked off to kill somethin, when its feeding day i watch her posture for signs of aggresion, if she (S) at me I just push he off the strike point with a snake hook and get her moving forward and scoup her up. she hates arm hair for some reason ( iaint got that much)and recoils when she crawls up my arm but settles down as soon as you pick her up.. The first month she was a little hissy and would strike her food and drop it to get back to that strike stance and give you I'll kill ya look.. hehehe it took a few times before she would finally slurp it down I would always leave the room for several mins so she wouldn't drop the rat pup to recoil..its was worth the work . I think its just they have so much fear. she actually watches me when I am in the room and dosent show any aggresion now .. But they are lookers when the mature can't wait for that next year to pass. Don't get one if your sacred of snakes that are hissy ,,, she don't even try to bite except on feeding day and its every man for himself.. hehe
psps she tagged me a week ago and it didn't even bleed I think her mouth was closed more like a friendly slap..the time she did bite it was like velcro no blood that time either,, hates them python bites the boys got teethes...hehe
