it would be great if you dont turn them into breeding machines, and wait a lil' longer, age and size wise to breed them. you'll have them for longer and by the time when they are ready to breed- you will have larger healthier litters. also, what i do is buy multiples- so i wont have to use the same female over and over again- which will keep her with me longer! remember, they are pets- not money makin machines!!!
i am doing the exact same thing too- i have anerys, and now albinos, and soon to be hypos. (in addition to my locale based animals)
also, you will likely have to buy these animals as babies and then raise them. if you see an adult female it is likely she is reproductivly spent! beware of that!!
anyways- it sounds like a real good venture- just make sure you can properly feed and house the parents and babies- AND THE HOLD BACKS!!! THEY ARE THE BEST PART
also, be prepared for a drop in the prices- a few people already have sunglows- but the rest who have been working on it too will have babies real soon- further dropping the price.
i remember 2 yrs ago snow boas were $15,000 here at shows, now they are $3500-$4000!
thats only in 2 yrs.
