Ok some people contacted me in regards to an Iguana that was left in an empty apartment with no heat, food or water for several days. The owners apparently moved and didnt want him..
I was thinking "Oh wow a green iguana!" As most of you know, Ive been wanting one for awhile..but Im not set up for an adult..They told me it was like a green iguana only black..So I was thinking..WTH? Rock Iggy maybe??
Turns out it was what PetCo classifies as a Club Tail Iguana.
Im not familiar with this species, but I know quite a bit about Greens, can anyone tell me if they are similar in diet?? This guy is dehydrated, and needs to eat ASAP! I have Collard greens, Strawberries, Kale, Cantaloupe, grapes, and some squash..but I want to make sure these are staple foods..Im pretty sure it is, but best not to chance it..
I figured Id try to get him hydrated and fed, and then do a fecal or go on and dose him with some wormer..Im sure he came from PetCo..
Any advice or help is appreciated
