I read this thread and it was not an attack on your charachter.
You may be a good loving mommy that wishes well for all, but the first time someone breaks in on you in the middle of the night and attempts to hurt you or any of your children, then you will quickly change your mind and realize you have to do something , like defending your self or your children. Otherwise, would you be able to live with your self knowing that you let a piece of crap hurt or kill, and you didn't do anything to prevent it?
Life is NOT fair.
Criminals do NOT care who they hurt or destroy.
Executions should be public displays with a big party afterwards.
Everyone legal to own a weapon in this country should be
able to carry any time, any place-NO RESTRICTIONS.
As for the USA turning into the old west, with shootouts in the streets, fine with me, make a few examples out of criminals and the rest would think twice before committing another crime.
At least in the old days, one could sleep soundly with the windows open and no locks on their doors with out fear that scum would be there to threaten , steal from, rape, kill and otherwise do harm and injury.
The biggest problem with crime and criminals now, is that they know they are going to get away clean, weven after being sent to the pen. With that knowledge, why would they WANT to stop?
Let them see and attend public executions for things such as rape, arson etc. and they would change or die.
Simple.
BTW plants don't have feelings.
Animals are here for us to eat.
Criminals are here to keep me busy at work.
I am lazy, so I really don't want to explain to an old couple why some one broke in, while they were home and grabbed their TV and VCR and left without saying a word to them.
I really don't want to explain to them why the criminals are getting away with it.
Simple, we let them.
As for the old couple, true, Gastonia NC about 1993, crack heads walked in and stole their things. They were scared to stop them or even call the police afterwards.
If they were to have exercised their Constitutional rights, then the criminals would have been stopped and jailed. But no, it's not politically correct to own a gun any more.
Sorry, I guess I am not too politically correct as I am a member of the NRA, Ex-Military, Vote, have real intelligence and common sense, own not just one but multiple wepaons ranging from long range to close up and personal types and I do carry on a DAILY basis.
AmErika, this isn't a flamer post on you. I am just extremely passionate that the citizens of this country wake up and quit acting like good little sheep.
