Well its been 5 days since last feeding day(and the first time i tried to get the baby boa Habibi to eat, and got him to with a live fuzzy in a high temp and smaller cage

) and Dee just dropped off some live fuzzys so we decided to try him on f/k, we dangled the first one and he struck it like nothing, but it didnt make a large enough bulge so we decided to give him a second one. It was still in its death twitches a bit when we put it in and he struck that one again but he was so excited he missed and one tooth was in the mouth one was in the paper towel, so i picked him up to gently remove the paper towel as soon as it unstuck he let go of the mouse and struck again and contricted around him barely missing my fingers lol. So much for a non-feeding boa

, next time were gonna try him on thawed. Were dangling a bit for now but its just because he needs to gain back his weight, as soon as he eats thawed were going to try him on non-moving, if he doesent take it well just try dangling it less and less untill he doesent need it. Im just happy hes eating!. Next cf order im getting him some fuzzy rats

, that'll make him gain back the weight he lost! Personally I think the reason he didnt eat before was for three reasons, they were trying to make him eat pinkys(they prefer stuff with fur), he was infested with mites and he had no hide. Pretty bad combination
