I don't recomend them for most people. ESPECIALLY don't buy a baby. Babies are roughly the size of hair and and either eat teeny little hatchling frogs, anole tail tips, pinky feet...get the picture? Adults are almost always problem feeders but not like ball pythons where they just stop eating for awhile. They get hung up on prey items sometimes that they have never even seen before somehow. Like...you can get them on rodents ...and sometimes they will seem to be doing great and then just slam on the brakes and hold out for a skink, gecko, or anole...or a frog. It'll be your job to figure out which. They are a pain. Unless you like challenging animals that require you to maintain a stash of weird feeders, avoid anything Candoia.
