You never have to mist. Second, it gives them plenty of privacy. Suriname BCCs stress very easy when they are young. A rack eliminates a potential source of stress for them. Third, they do better when they are young in smaller cages like a rack. I recommend a sweater box rack system for young BCCs. Make sure to controll the temps.
