I have a theory concerning photoshop piracy...mind you, it's just a theory so don't reference me or call me in as a wittness if you get busted...but anyway...It seems suspicious to me that a software as complex and expensive as it is gets cracked the day any new version comes out and you never hear of anyone prosecuted for hacking it and freely distributing it. If you think about it though, it makes sense for them to leak the crack and encourage piracy. Here's why. It's designed, priced and geared for big companies who can't aford to risk piracy conviction and tend to have every little program they use licensed. If they wanted to sell it to the public and locked it up tight where it couldn't be hacked, the current version would never fetch 5-700 bucks a pop so we can play with photos. No way and people wouldn't learn it at home and then go find jobs to use it...That's the point I'm trying to make btw...They want us to get it...learn to use it...master it and then go get jobs using it. It boosts their market bigtime in the corporate world by having every little geek on the planet familiar with their program.
