Refferring back to the original pic: Many years ago I saw a woman drive off with the nozzle still in her tank. Fortunately she caught her error shortly after she pulled the whole pump off its base. I don't know if it was the burst of flame (thank god for auto cut-off) or the grinding noise, but she only made it about 20 feet before she noticed.
