Here's how I would pack it...
1)Place the lizard in a deli cup or similar plastic container with some shreds of paper towel.
2) Line a small, plain, cardboard box with styrofoam
3) Use either double-sided tape or a small loop of tape to secure the container to the botom of the box. This will prevent the cup from being unduely jostled while in transit.
4) Fill the rest of the box with loosely crumpled newspaper.
5) Label two opposite sides of the box "Live Harmless Reptiles". Label the other two sides "^ This End Up ^".
6) Somewhere on the box, list the contents: ie, "1 ea. Leopard Gecko; Eublepharis macularius"
7) Bring to the Post Office, and tell them you need to send the box via Express Mail.
