My wife and I live in a townhome and don't have a yard. We love to take our animals to the park close by.
We have two hedgehogs that we take out there pretty often. Those animals get all kinds of attention. Everyone from little kids to the elderly wants to know what they are, where they can get one and if they can pet them!
Occasionlly, I will bring my RTB to the park (never along with the hegdies). I'm actually surprised how much good attention my RTB gets as well. Not nearly as much as the hedgies do, but there are always a few people that come by and watch her slithering in the grass. Lots of people have questions too. Out of the 8-10 times I have brought her to the park, only once did I get a negative remark. It was from an elderly woman who basically told me I was crazy for bringing such a dangerous wild animal to a public park with children near by. She wasn't mean about it, but certainly didn't have any reservations about speaking her mind... all while keeping her distance of about 20 yards.
