I understand how you feel! I wasn't quite sure how big or old your female was. I have yet to find an emmy that won't tame down enough to be handled, although we don't handle ours on a routine basis. I have found that even the most aggressive new comer, eventually does become accustomed to being handled to the point of not stricking unless startled.
