Veiled chams I think are your best choice. They handle much better than most other chams and mines never really got stressed or angry with me yet. Mine cost about £75 erm not sure what that is in dollars i think its around $50. Hes very healthy and he was in great condition when i bought him.
Youll need about a 1ft wide and 2.5ftlenghand about 2ft high to begin with. Put lots of braches in there along with all the other stuuf which the little guy needs, im not going to go into all the requirements because im sure you know them.
Anyways sorry if that bored you, but i would really reccomend taht you get a veiled chameleon.
