>>Very nice. Don't use a RHP without a thermostat or rheostat. That is what controls the panel.

(BTW, I'm Heather - referenced in Will's signature)

The RHP is hooked up to a ZooMed ReptiTemp thermostat. We also have 4 thermometers in various areas of the enclosure, along with a hygrometer. (These were all installed after the last pics Will posted.) The light is even hooked up to a timer. What can I say, I don't like to spend a lot of time maintaining the enclosure, just want plenty of quality time with the baby, plus I'm lazy

We've also got the bedding (aspen) in now, and we're letting the setup run for a few days to get everything regulated optimally. We're also expecting a bundle of driftwood and need to build/buy several hides for the little girl.

The aspen really helps keep in the humidity. We have a humidifier running in her current enclosure (55gal aquarium) and it seems to keep the humidity around 65-70%. After putting the aspen into the new viv, without a humidifier running, the humidity seems to maintain itself around 60% even with the door to the cage open. (The whole front of the enclosure opens.) Of course, it helps that we live in central Florida.. good lord its muggy down here!

So far, so good Thanks for all your comments and advice. Hopefully Ayasha will enjoy her new home.

Heather, Will, Ayasha, and the nameless itty bitty ringneck snake...
