Help Please-Anorexic Crested Gecko
I bought my son a crested gecko for my son 1 month ago. His body (w/0 tail) is about 3 inches long--age unknown. he is kept in an aquarium with 2 fake plants and the temp is kept at about 75 degrees. Bedding is moistened peat type "stuff".He is misted twice daily. For the last 5 days, he does not seem to be eating, although he does not appear weak or skinny. his stools are a combo of fairly well formed dark feces, and a whitish semi solid that I assume is urine. He was eating crickets--he ate 3 out of my finger-tips 5 days ago, but now won't touch them even if i place them on his nose. He also is offered Clarks Diet mixed fresh every night. I have tried meal worms, but they seem big for him.(1.5inches.) Any ideas--we are both worried why he seems so diinterested. We put2 new small crickets in his cage nightly--he hangs out in the plants all the time and seems to ignore the bowl of food and the live crickets PLEASE HELP--My son and I are very worried.
