I liked Narnia 100% times better than King Kong, but then, I didn't like Kong much at all.
Narnia is geared towards a younger audience, but the story is classic and the CG is wonderful and the movie isn't so long that the seats get uncomfortable.
King Kong has some themes that are great for adults and the story isn't horrible... I had a hard time with the island with dinosaurs and a huge gorilla (I know it's classic Kong, but I still didn't like it), some of the animal behavior (dinosaurs leaving their kill to chase a human? Come on!) and I thought it was waaay to anthropomorphic. I thought that while Kong's CG animation was well-done, it was abused to give him unbelievable facial expression. Some would say that adds to the story, but it bothered me. The acting for the main characters was well done, but the supporting characters were weak and a got on my nerves a bit.
If I was you, I'd see Narnia first.
The other way of looking at it, though, is if you're going to pay for a movie, pay to see Narnia and if you want to see Kong, use your passes for that. I had passes for Kong, too, and I was really glad at the end of the movie that I hadn't paid for it.
