There are alot of fish out there alot more aggressive than oscars. All cichlids are aggressive to some degree. Oscars tend to be the biggest and are eating machines, so its not necessairly aggression that is driving them.
Red terrors, jags, wolfs and Midas tend to be really aggressive. Electric yellow and blues tend to be less aggressive (theres a whole bunch that are less aggressive just cant think of them off the top of my head). Once we see your current pics we can probably tell you what not to choose ::grins::.
