Hey PC I have a little guy myself and another on hold I think they are great! Yeah there's plenty of room to free roam in the south! I really wish I knew a good way to sex these guy's! Actually I picked one out that had a different shaped shell on the bottom from what I already had, so hopefully!!! Finger's crossed!!! Just remember to treat them like cow's and not reptile's! I would take the wood out of the tank and get some Timothy Hay for the little guy they are grazing animal's and will get most of the fiber from the hay. Also they tend to mouth everything in the tank (wouldn't want an impaction from wood!)
