To learn or do you have a non feeding snake?
How about reading up in the older forums for a while?
There is a wealth of good , up to date info in them, a klot better than your book in most cases.
Also, as far as force feeding a snake, especially a BP, understand that there are times that BPs come off feed and sometimes they can stay off feed for a VERY long time, sometimes up to and beyond 12 months.
If the book says that you need to force due to a missed meal or two, then you'd be best served by putting the book on the reference shelf, taped shut and just digging in and reading the forums here.
If a thread cojfuses you or ya find something you can't understand, then ask your questions on that thread so we can see where you got that way.
