Is this your first large snake? If so stay away from any burms. Males can get quite large at easily 17 feet. Brett could tell you how big Max is to give you an idea.
If you get a male boa I'd get a 421d cage from Boaphile. I'm about to by my first stack from them. I have heard nothing but the best about Boaphile.
