Too cold to ship?

I am getting my girlfriend a gecko for Christmas.... And around Michigan it's getting cold. This Tuesday and Wednesday are most likely going to be the last of the temp this high for awhile. Do you think we should go ahead with the shipping? Its not coming from that far away, Around NY. Will be shipped in a Styrofoam insulated box with 48hr heat pads. What do ya think???
