i would wait 24 hours and then carefully check on it. if there was no blood then this is probably a good sign, but you will want to disinfect it anyways. you could probably use some diluted hydrogen peroxide or some topical human wound disinfectant. if it seems like it is infected, then you probably want to go to the vet and get some antibiotics.
