Years ago, I had the same problem with my burmese. I called the San Diego zoo. Someone from their reptile dept called me back. He said they put them in a large rubbermaid trash can filled with foam rubber chunks, like the material in couch cushions, and 2/3 filled with water. Leaving the snake in there with the top on for 24 hrs gets all the skin and eye coverings off. I wasn't sure I could find clean furniture foam, so I just took him to the vet. He used hemostats or something, and pulled it right off.
