shelf bottoms are particle board which are drying as we speak from severl coats of a poliurithane sealer (which works good, low odor and very fast drying...takes days for it to cure properly though). All of the holes were already in the shelves. i have yet to have to drill a hole thru the metal. Im still working on the heating part. My house doesnt get very cold so im not too worried at the moment about teh metal retaining cold, but ill keep an eye on it, thanks. But still not sure on the best way to heat each level.....any suggestions? Thanks for the input
