But it sounds like you are having a tough feeding bp.
As for how long on my bps, most here were captive bred with one exception, a wild caught female that would strike anything and everything and only sometimes eat the prey.
I bought one at a pet store that I had to tube feed for several months before becoming a darn good eater.
At the moment, I have a small female that hasn't refused a meal yet, in fact I can hold her up and offer food. She strikes, constricts and will eat even while being held.
