AAAAAAAgh!!!!! I hate hearing people say that Ferrets bite and they stink terribly!! (sorry don't mean to rant.. but ya gotta get your facts straight) First off.. any animal will bite... you have to train your fert just like your would a puppy or kitten.. Second... Skunks stink!! unless your are planning on becoming a breeder.. most ferts sold in pet stores and shelters are descented.. there is still a slight lingering musky odor..but its not strong!! if they are not descented I agree YES they can smell!! but if you clean there litter everyday.. and don't bath them every week.. the ferret musky smell is very minimal!!! I hope this clears up some of the misconceptions that unfortunalty get thrown around concerning these great little guys!! I love all three of my boys.. and wouldn't trade them in for even the most expensive dog... talk about stink!! LOL
