Woohoo! Yippie! yay...um *ahem* yeah
[img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] I'm so happy, I FINALLY got my Dumeril to take F/T.
After trying and failing since I purchased him in December (fed him live when I *had* to but tried to coax it towards f/t) I finally got him to take it today. I just decided I was going to wait a week and a half after last feeding, and refuse to remove him from his feed box until he ate it. I thawed the fuzzie in a plastic baggy (saw that in another post) to keep it dry, stuck him in a smaller tupperware than usual, put the tupperware in his cage (closed tupperware of course) and just left him alone. Repeatedly checking on him I finally decided, 4 hours later, that if I turned around this time and he hadn't taken it I'd give up again. Well just as I turned around....Wham! I thought I was going to pass out. I'm so happy. Now if only he makes it a habbit to eat them, but I'll take it one step at a time.

P.S. I don't know if it has anything to do with it but oddly (to me anyway) Crazy Train by Ozzy had just started playing on the radio when I turned around....hmmm maybe he (my Dumeril) is an Ozzy fan?
