Thanks for the compliments on the site. Unfortunately too many ppl out there are not honest about their experience with reptiles, that's why it is important to have the application. I would think everyone would understand that. I wouldn't be TELLING you if you are capable, I would be just clarifing. If for some reason you had to give up your reptiles, wouldn't you like to at least know for sure the person at least had basic knowledge of reptiles? At least to know to feed prekilled or F/T, or not to use hot rocks. I've had people asking for ETB's and GTP's that only had experience with ball pythons or garter snakes. Or those who use hot rocks and feed live in the enclosure. If I never asked, I would have never known. I don't disqualify those people, only let them know what I know, and if they are willing to make the changes to make things safe for the reptile, then they are able to adopt. In fact, I adopted Eddie's burm to a guy who wasn't extremely knowledgable, but he constantly e-mails me for questions and advise, and has had the snake to the vet twice now! He cares and is willing to learn and do what is needed, and that is what matteres to me. Hope you understand what I mean.
