Actually, my husband bought it. He bought the software that builds the site off line, the domain name, and 2 years of hosting. Once I built the site offline, I uploaded it to the domain name. Whenever I need to update the site, I simply upload again. I honestly couldn't tell you much more, that's why we bought the software. The domain name is what you type in the browser window to get to my site. Like if you went and got a free site with geocities your URL would be something like
www.geocities.blahblahblaha982.com. With my site we are easy to find because the domain name is the same as the name I gave the site.
