Best advice I can provide for a new BP owner (I don't have one, but this is what I've gathered) is to handle often, keep a close eye on your temps, and be aware that they can sometimes be problem feeders. Don't stress too much about the feeding thing. Yes, you should be concerned, but they can go several months without feeding...sometimes you gotta really work at it to get them to eat.
sorry I'm no help on the name...I've got a baby coming soon too, and am trying to come up with names myself. A lot of people like to name their snakes from history and/or mythology (ancient creature, ancient name I suppose). Others prefer something native to the snakes homeland. Bry gives all his names that start with Z. Just keep in mind you're gonna be the one yelling it off the back porch when he's out playing with his friends....or was that for naming kids [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
