They very well could be if they don't normally act like this. A little more info would be nice. Such as size, age, wieght, how long they've gone without food, and this is just to name a few. We just had a clutch and have another one waiting to drop so it's by no means to late in the season. Run your fingers down their underside. Do you feel any bumps?
