ok i gotta stick my 2cents worth in this cuz i own both, bci and bcc...
Because bcc (guyana/suriname/peruvians) come from the coastal areas of SA, then they are of course gonna have different husbandry requirements, but not so much different than that of it's interior cousins. for our 3 bcc's the heating for the most point is the same... 87-89 on the warm, and about 80-82 on the cool with about 70% humidity in all of their enclosures... however, pathy is pretty much accurate about the regurge issue...i will say about half of the regurges that happen is due to stress, and also handling all too soon... The general rule of thumb I was told is to not handle the snake for 24-48 for BCC... not true.. they need more time.. we generally give them about 3-4 days or until the bulge disappears from their gut before we handle ours...
Now when u mentioned guyana bcc...yes they are pretty and so are the surinames, but there is no definative way to tell the 2 apart, unless you know their exact linage and history of each bloodline...the only thing that separates guyana and suriname is a mountain range and a river... big flippin deal right? not to the herp industry... people like to give snakes locale specific names to make them desirable...it's just a marketing ploy/strategy to get ppl to buy their snakes....which makes no sense to do it anyway.... besides has anyone notice that there are NO french guyana bcc's in the market? look at a map and think about it..

good statements...but IMO not nesseccarily true... bci's and bcc's or bco, or bcl.. or what have you...all can equally have tame dispositions, but it comes down to how you care for your snake and how much human interaction that they have...
ok im done for now.. i was gonna type more but lost all train of thought thanks to ppl in irc. =P
