i have lots of balls and they eat year round. the most they will miss is a feeding or 2
(couple of weeks)
your boa and ball are prolly being housed in substandard conditions, being exposed to the elements- wich include drafts, under stress for a billion different reasons.
its exactl;y what julius said. these snakes do not go off of feed for a seasonal thing. they eat all yr round.
check your temps, humidity, the area where you have the enclosure at, your handling practices, if the enclosure is by a bassy radio etc.....
make sure your boa is not sick, and try different food item.
