I know that this is an older post. But cobras are notorious for retaining eyecaps during shedding. This could easily cause an infection. The easiest way to remove retained eyecaps is to use a restraining tube with hardware cloth on one end. Tube the snake and get the body into the tube far enough that the head is against the hardware cloth. Then a medium size set of tweezers can be used to remove the eyecap. The helps to avoid the unpleasant chore of pinning [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] Just a little tidbit on an older post.
