I admit (and apologize) for my lack of "balls", for not speaking up. I guess I am at his place of business and I don't feel it was my place. They (buyers) obviously know NOTHING about Iguanas. The attendant was "setting them up" as it were with everything they will need.
The one I am most in disagreemtn with is the parent. (A) just because Johny wants that green lizard on display does NOT mean he can have it. (B) If I decide he can have it, wouldn't a little research be good for us all (me as parent, Johny to learn, good for the animal)?
Of parenting I can talk because my kids (now teenagers) grew up with a respect and understanding of animals as pets and understand the commitment. My son actually turned down the chance to have his own BCI, explaining he is too busy with school and does not feel he has the time to properly attend to it.
Is it a coincidence that I see those young iguanas going out with 12 to 14 year old boys most of the time?
