I agree with Lady.... Give him a soak in a rubbermaid for 3 hours or so. Start with warm water, and if you have one, place a human heat pad under it on low. If not to big deal, a few hours in cool water won't kill him

My male bp has this problem from time to time, usually because he doesn't find the water I'm guessing. So a long soak helps rehydrate him.

Make sure he's got a water dish big enough for him to fit in easily, filled with about an inch-inch 1/2 of water.
