BD's new tank
Ok, Spike(BD) finally pooped today. (Thank God)
I decided to upgrade his housing from a ten gallon to a fifty gallon reptile tank. It's shorter and wider than the traditional fifty-five gallon fish tank. I still have my little 5 1/2 spot light above the tank. Do I need additional lights or should I upgrade to a larger spot light. It looks very small above the 50 gallon tank. I still have the UVB bulb above the tank. I also bought a large log type ornament for basking. Should the water bowl be large enough for the lizard to soak in. I have one large enough for him to drink and not soak.
The temp in the tank should be 100-110 under the basking lamp right and not everywhere. Any help would be appreciated.
