God you should work in the funeral business seeing your this good at diggin holes but seriously STOP DIGGING. You say you knew the risk but you could have an exception and you did - erm NOT the point, you took a massive risk and potentially gambled the life of your snake, you wouldn't do that to a human so don't do it to a DEFENCELESS animal. You switched from live to F/T because you knew the risk so WTF did you take the risk for? You do what you can to improve care? STOP feeding live and don't do it again unless there is NO options left. As for the comment about knowledge is gained, yep that's true BUT the whole point of people publishing books and writing care sheets is so that people READ EVERYTHING first and KNOW feeding live isn't acceptable and know what they're getting into. Stop making feeble excuses and take responsibilty and if your royal makes you that crazy and lost for what to do give it to someone who does know what they're doing!
